Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anatomical Pathology Technologist to join our friendly mortuary team at Camden Council. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of mortuary operations, including admission, identification, and storage of deceased bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage mortuary operations, including admission, identification, and storage of deceased bodies
  • Assist pathologists with forensic cases, collaborating with emergency services
  • Facilitate viewings and identifications with the Coroner's Office
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and working in compliance with SOP and HTA guidelines
Requirements
  • Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technician or equivalent APT qualification
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a mortuary setting
  • Good technical knowledge of mortuary policy, procedure, and human anatomy
