We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy multi-franchise site in South Wales. This pivotal role involves taking full responsibility for financial performance and providing effective leadership. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this position offers exceptional career growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership and Team Management:

1. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of automotive retail professionals, ensuring all departments are adequately staffed.
2. Foster a high-performance culture that recognises and rewards exceptional achievements while effectively addressing underperformance.
* Financial Planning and Performance:

1. Establish annual financial and growth objectives for each department, devising strategies to meet profit and product targets.
2. Prepare accurate dealership reporting and forecasting in adherence to group reporting frameworks.
3. Oversee dealership marketing strategies aligned with manufacturer guidelines to support business objectives.
4. Drive outstanding levels of customer satisfaction in Sales, Aftersales and Parts, coaching the leadership team to achieve the same.
* Compliance and Regulation:

1. Ensure all dealership activities comply with Griffin Mill, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements.
2. Possess knowledge of manufacturer metrics, such as dealer balanced scorecard, to drive operational excellence.

Required Experience:

To excel in this role, it is crucial to have prior experience as a General Manager overseeing and driving performance in both the sales and aftersales side of the business. In addition to the relevant experience, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

1. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
2. Professionalism and composure, along with exceptional stakeholder management skills for internal and external relationships.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilising available data to identify potential challenges across all departments.
4. Forward-thinking mindset and excellent communication skills.
