We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead for Accommodation Services to join our team at Corus Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff and overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to young people.

As Team Lead for Accommodation Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that our accommodation services meet the needs of our clients and provide them with the support they require to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Lead a team of staff providing effective line management, supervision, training, and development opportunities, and oversee staff recruitment and rota management.">
  3. Direct team members in their day-to-day work to ensure service users receive a consistent, high-quality, and responsive service.">
  4. Ensure each client has an individual package of support with regular formal and informal key working, and up-to-date support plans, risk assessments, and needs assessments.">
  5. Oversee referrals ensuring they meet the criteria and service specification and ensure that referrals are interviewed, assessed, and accepted/rejected in line with policy.">
  6. Maintain positive working relationships with Young Peoples Pathways and referral agencies.">
  7. Ensure preparation for move-on begins once the young person moves into the service, and that a comprehensive package of life skills training is available to all.">
  8. Adhere to move-on targets as detailed in the service specification and be responsive to the priorities of the local authority.">
  9. Ensure robust procedures are in place for managing missing young people, as well as providing a variety of approaches for non-engaging clients.">
  10. Ensure the property is maintained to a high standard and that effective systems are in place to ensure all areas of housing management are efficient and offer value for money, with voids kept to a minimum and rental income maximised.">
  11. Ensure staff are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and fulfill their responsibilities within the organisation's Health and Safety procedural framework.">

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

">
  1. ">
  2. Experience working with young people in an accommodation-based service.">
  3. Experience of staff and service management, and the ability to manage staff performance and motivate staff members to perform effectively.">
  4. High-level understanding and ability to manage the range of issues involved in the delivery of quality services to young people who may be at risk or looked after with complex needs, including offending and gang affiliation.">
  5. Strong networking skills and proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to establish or improve services to service users.">
  6. IT skills necessary to maintain data and fulfill monitoring requirements, with the ability to be fully self-servicing in the use of emails and common computer packages.">

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
