About the Role:
The Team Leader Care Professional will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our clients, managing and supervising a team of caregivers to ensure compassionate and effective care. This involves scheduling staff shifts, monitoring performance, providing feedback and coaching, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery.
- Supervise and support the team through one-on-one meetings and team meetings.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Care Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of personalized care plans for each client.
- Assess and monitor the well-being of clients, ensuring care is provided according to their needs.
- Ensure all care tasks are carried out according to the care plan and regulatory standards.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Monitor the quality of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and internal quality standards.
- Maintain accurate care documentation, including client records, care plans, and incident reports.
- Training and Development:
- Facilitate opportunities for growth within the team.
- Provide or arrange for staff training in line with regulatory requirements and care standards.
- Encourage professional development and ensure the team is up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
About You:
We are seeking a skilled Team Leader Care Professional with a proven track record in a care setting. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and a basic salary of £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
