Financial Operations Assistant Job Description

Agility Resoucing is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team in Oldham. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial operations, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

About the Role

This role involves supporting month-end processes, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing supplier payment runs. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer credit insurance, reconciling supplier accounts, and monitoring stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support month-end processes, including preparation and posting of prepayments and accruals
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily and at month end
  • Reconcile Inter-Company statements to the ledger and process monthly Inter Company Payments
  • Prepare mid-month and monthly supplier payment runs and input ad-hoc online banking payments
  • Update and post cash book entries for all bank accounts and invoice discounting accounts
  • Maintain and monitor customer credit insurance
  • Reconcile supplier accounts to supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Process credit notes and resolve queries
  • Review customer accounts to ensure they are within credit limits
  • Reconcile physical stock levels and stock lines
