Job Title: Senior Curriculum Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Curriculum Specialist to lead our curriculum design and ensure the highest quality of educational content. This pivotal role blends methodological expertise with a dedication to quality control, maintaining our curriculum at the forefront of educational standards and adapting to the diverse learning needs of young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum development and maintenance: design, develop, and continuously improve the English language curriculum for children of various age groups, ensuring it meets CEFR standards. Regularly maintain and update the current curriculum to reflect the latest educational practices and feedback from users.
- Teacher support and training: provide comprehensive support and professional development to our teaching staff. Assist in creating training materials and conduct workshops to boost learning material creation.
- Quality assurance: conduct regular reviews and assessments of learning materials and classroom delivery. Implement enhancements to uphold and elevate educational standards.
- Research and innovation: stay up-to-date with the latest developments and studies in language education. Apply cutting-edge learning content creation methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Feedback implementation: collect and analyse feedback from students, parents, and teachers to refine teaching practices and materials.
- Collaboration: work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of the curriculum with product and user experience, boosting programme effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in curriculum development for language education, with a specific focus on teaching English to children online.
- Deep understanding of pedagogical theories and teaching methodologies relevant to language learning.
- Demonstrated ability to implement quality control processes within an educational environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English, C2
