About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cardiothoracic team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during anaesthetic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-surgery assistance to patients, including preparation of specialised equipment and drugs.
- Support surgical procedures by facilitating communication between teams and ensuring safe patient transfer post-surgery.
- Effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and caregivers, adapting communication methods to individual needs.
Requirements
- ODP qualification or qualified nurse with a recognised anaesthetic course.
- Ability to treat all patient/employee information confidentially.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
