Job Description

The Finance Officer will be responsible for handling purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements, requesting outstanding invoices, and preparing sales journals for the Restaurant, Coffee Shop, and Retail Shop. Key responsibilities include timely invoice payments, cash management, and preparing sales journals, ensuring alignment with bank deposits, credit card receipts, and relevant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices, ensuring correct approvals and timely payment.
  • Reconcile and bank cash takings and cheques.
  • Post ticket and income receipts, ensuring accurate coding in the ledgers.
  • Prepare and reconcile sales journals for retail and restaurant income.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist with audit preparation, respond to queries, and provide supporting documentation.
  • Provide holiday cover for other finance team members.
