Purchase Ledger Support

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client's team on a 12-month temporary basis.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 18 months of experience in finance, with expertise in purchase ledger and sales ledger tasks.

Due to the temporary nature of this role, we require candidates who are immediately available or can start on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Managing the shared finance inbox and responding to finance-related queries.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and posting incoming cash to the finance system.
  • Liaising with the credit control team to handle outstanding invoices.
  • Providing additional finance support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous finance experience, preferably with 18 months of experience in both purchase ledger and sales ledger.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency in V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Immediate availability or ability to start on short notice.
