Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at Smiths Business Supplies. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and supporting our Sales Consultants.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires 2+ years of experience in an administrative position. You will work closely with our Managing Director and other team members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive purchasing experience for our clients.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process orders onto our Prima back-office system.
  • Supply customers with accurate quotes and product information.
  • Furnish customers with delivery details for their orders.
  • Administer our recycling service setup and collection process.
  • Ongoing creation of contacts on Prima and online account monitoring/maintenance.
  • Continuously develop skills to uphold current service standards for customers.
  • Distribute marketing materials to customers.
  • Manage Proof of Delivery documents, faulty enquiries, returns, credits, and collaborate with the Managing Director.
  • Support Sales Consultants by providing customers with customized quotations.
  • Promote existing accounts to maximize their spending and purchases from Smiths Business Supplies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
