We are recruiting an experienced Education Sector Catering Specialist to join our team at Compass Group UK&I. As a leading provider of catering and support services, we are committed to delivering exceptional food experiences to students and staff in schools and universities across the UK.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with educators, caterers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver bespoke catering solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. You will be responsible for managing budgets, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement effective catering strategies that meet the nutritional, dietary, and cultural needs of students and staff.
  • To supervise a team of chefs, kitchen assistants, and other catering staff to achieve excellent standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • To manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimise revenue streams.
  • To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
  • A strong understanding of nutrition, food safety, and hygiene practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Plus benefits package including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
