Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Care Home Activities Coordinator to join our team at Ideal Carehomes. This is a rewarding role that offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and external partners. They will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of activities that cater to different interests and abilities, ensuring that every resident feels valued and engaged.

As a key member of our care home team, the Lifestyle Manager will play a vital role in promoting independence, confidence, and overall well-being among our residents. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a commitment of approximately 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this role is £25,000 per annum. Benefits include free onsite car parking, close proximity to local transport links, and regular staff social events.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a diverse range of activities that cater to different interests and abilities
* Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of services
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Requirements
* A diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology)
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the care sector
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* A genuine passion for working with older adults and making a positive impact on their lives
