About the Role:

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Assistant. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, addressing physical and mental health needs of patients.
  • Undertake clinical observations, record, and report as directed by registered professionals.
  • Participate in treatment/activities for patients within the in-patient environment, including accompanying/escorting patients outside the ward.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and relevant clinical records, ensuring safe custody of healthcare documents.
  • Treat patients as individuals, enabling them to achieve maximum independence.

Requirements:

  • NVQ III in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health and/or intellectual disability.
  • Basic understanding of mental health difficulties, intellectual disability presentation, and a caring approach to patients.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and flexibility.
  • Developed observation skills, standard keyboard skills, and a full UK driving license.

Estimated Salary: £22,129 - £28,765 per annum, depending on experience.
