Healthcare Support Professional

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients department on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
About the Role:
- You will assist qualified nursing staff in providing comprehensive nursing services to patients and ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients, identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect their health and well-being.
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an HCA or equivalent in a hospital environment.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
- Basic numeracy & literacy.
- Demonstrate a patient-focused approach.
- Experience in ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures, and patient observations.
- Phlebotomy experience is essential.
- Wound care experience is essential.
- Good team work ethic.
- Enthusiastic and energetic professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Permanent or 12-month fixed contract available.
