The Operational Risk Senior Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the continued growth and success of Citi by identifying and mitigating operational risks. This role reports directly to the Head of Operational Risk and is responsible for developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize losses.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
  • Assess and manage operational risks associated with our business activities.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational risk management.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
