Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering business and digital transformation projects, ensuring all projects are efficiently managed and implemented. You will be supported by SMEs across the business, including operations, technology, governance, finance, networks, innovation, and regulations.

The key responsibilities of this role include maintaining correct levels of governance and risk management in accordance with internal policies and practices. You will also assist in implementing best practice programme management and governance across a range of projects. Additionally, you will support the delivery of initiatives and projects by getting fully involved in analysis, process design, facilitating readiness activities, and implementation.

A key part of this role is working with business leads and SMEs to plan and design projects, continuously monitoring progress, proactively resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action where required. As a member of the Project Management team, you will work with team members to continuously look to improve project and programme delivery methodology and tools.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years' experience as either a Business Analyst and/or a Project Manager, with a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or Agile certification. They will also have experience in using Microsoft applications such as SharePoint and Teams, as well as a range of project management tools like DevOps and Trello.
