About the Role:

This role involves supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality care services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about children’s well-being, possess strong leadership skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operations Management:
  2. Assist in managing day-to-day operations across childcare facilities to ensure smooth functioning.
  3. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
  4. Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and staff deployment.
  5. Compliance and Quality:
  6. Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations governing childcare services.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing requirements and safety standards.
  8. Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits.
  9. Staff Management:
  10. Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff.
  11. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Monitor staff performance and address any issues promptly.
  13. Budgeting and Resource Management:
  14. Assist in managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
  15. Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies and resources are available.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Leadership and Management for Care Services or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations or management, preferably in a childcare or education setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices.
  • Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Estimated Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
