About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Caremark Ltd. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Help clients with mobility and physical disabilities, including incontinence and the use of personal aids and equipment.
  • Care for clients who are temporarily sick and require bed nursing and assistance with feeding.
  • Provide care and support for clients who are terminally ill.
  • Encourage clients' independence and promote mental and physical activities through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
  • Perform light cleaning, emptying commodes, and general tidying.
  • Prepare and serve light meals, clearing away, and washing up.
  • Read and write reports and be involved in clients' reviews and training activities.
  • Adhere to all Caremark's policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report significant changes in clients' health or circumstances to the Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager.
