We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate graduate to join our primary school team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs and have the ability to communicate effectively with teachers and students.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Support students with personal and academic challenges on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans for students with SEND
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify and address the needs of students with SEND
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment


The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.



Requirements:


  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, psychology, core subject)
  • Experience working with children or in a related field (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for supporting young people with special educational needs
