Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced production manager to take on a leadership role within our exhibitions team. As a Technical Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full production development and delivery process, from initial concept to final installation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To be the technical lead on allocated exhibitions and commissions, working closely with designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • To manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • To conduct risk assessments and produce method statements for allocated projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • To maintain the upkeep of technical and storage areas, managing stock levels and ensuring all equipment is compliant with relevant regulations.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our exhibitions team to deliver exceptional results, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will also contribute to the development of our exhibitions strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

Key Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Substantial experience in exhibition production management, including project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including a good understanding of exhibition design, construction, and AV systems.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrable commitment to delivering high-quality results, with a strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary:** £36,000 per annum (pro rata) Benefits:* Enhanced annual leave, birthday leave, emergency dependent care, enhanced maternity pay, pension scheme, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, discounts, offers, and free stuff.

Able to perform manual handling tasks occasionally due to the nature of this job. Clean driving license and able to use own car would be beneficial but not essential.
