Swanstaff Ltd is seeking a skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team in Melksham. As a Recycling Centre Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Recycling Centre safely and efficiently
  • Direct and assist members of the public in correctly disposing of waste
  • Identify and intercept reusable items in conjunction with our charity partners
  • Encourage users to reuse before recycling
  • Conduct daily site inspections and record findings
  • Ensure all chargeable waste is identified
  • Prevent unauthorized access to the Recycling Centre
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in recycling or waste management (desirable)
  • PPE must be worn at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Good timekeeping
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible scheduling (5 out of 7 days)
  • Paid weekly (£280-£320 per week)
