About the Role:

Our client, a well-established privately-owned construction business, is seeking a Senior Design Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design process for large building projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to meet client expectations.

About the Company:

Our client operates at the forefront of the UK industry, focusing on building large newbuild projects. They are keen to find someone with strong technical knowledge who can lead a project with little lead-in time. The role will be office-based in Maidstone, with site visits required 1-2 days a week. Travel will be paid for, and the successful candidate will be expected to work across various new build projects spanning the southeast of England.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the design process to develop a design compliant with all contract requirements
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to meet client expectations
- Lead a project with little lead-in time
- Work across various new build projects spanning the southeast of England

Requirements:

- Strong technical knowledge
- Ability to lead a project with little lead-in time
- Experience working for well-established main contractors on multi-million-pound projects
