Care Home Support Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Bank Admin Assistant to join our team at Barchester care home. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, handle phone calls, manage files, and assist managers in delivering excellent care services to residents.

This is a varied position that requires strong multitasking skills, good computer literacy, and a confident telephone manner. As an Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Answering phone calls and handling inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Managing files and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Assisting managers with administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, engaging with residents, and providing tours of the facility to promote a positive image
  • Providing backup during peak periods or absences of colleagues to maintain seamless operations

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability are also key requirements.
