About the Role

The Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Tylers Green Middle School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the learning and development of pupils with special educational needs
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils
  • Assist with the delivery of interventions and programs for individual pupils or small groups
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils

Requirements

  • Good level of English and Maths
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs (desirable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
  • Positive and inclusive approach towards all children
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and share skills
