Special Needs Teaching Assistant Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist the classroom teacher in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  2. Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  3. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible support.
Requirements and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £28,000 per annum.
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are preferred but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
