Clinical Leadership Opportunity

Up to £85,000 salary with a welcome bonus of up to £5,000 and relocation allowance of up to £5,000. We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to lead our Small Animal Department in Lewes, East Sussex.

The successful candidate will help lead a team of experienced vets and nurses, manage operations, and enjoy clinical freedom with a diverse caseload. You will be fully supported by your Head Nurse and experienced Practice Manager and have a collaborative relationship with the farm and equine Clinical Directors.

Rota Pattern

This is a full-time position working 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, with a share in the Saturday morning rota. We understand that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, so we can be flexible.

We pride ourselves on providing the latest technology, including laparoscopy, digital radiography, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound/doppler, and more. Our laboratory technician runs a wide range of diagnostics in-house to provide an exceptional level of care for our patients.

You will lead an exceptional team at Cliffe Small Animal Vets comprising of 10 Vets, 11 Nurses, and 14 supporting team members. Our team is dedicated to continuous professional development and excellent patient care.

Requirements

You will be a dynamic leader, bringing a mix of your clinical, people and commercial leadership skills and be ready to lead by example. You will have an understanding and experience working with commercial measures such as profit and loss reports, and you will work closely with your Area Director in delivering the business KPIs through considered business planning.
