Job Title: Senior Health Lead - Safeguarding Adults

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Lead - Safeguarding Adults to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, expert clinical advice, and consultancy to staff, senior managers, and board members on safeguarding adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a professional and clinical lead on all aspects of health service contribution to safeguarding adults.
  • Ensure that NHS Sussex fulfills statutory duties and maintains compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
  • Lead on specific safeguarding agendas, as part of portfolio working, ensuring the ICB and wider health economy fulfill all requirements under the SAAF and the intercollegiate documents.
  • Deliver projects, initiatives, and services to time and in a cost-effective way.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including commissioners, local authority, police, NHS England, and health professionals in primary care and safeguarding leads in provider services.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have significant experience in supervising or advising staff in safeguarding adults, with a strong background in clinical expertise and leadership. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
