Job Title: Director of EMEA Field Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of EMEA Field Marketing to lead our regional marketing efforts. As a key member of our global marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives across the EMEA region, including the UK & Ireland, Middle East & Africa, Central Europe, and the Nordics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the EMEA field marketing strategy in alignment with global marketing objectives and regional business goals.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the field marketing teams across UKI, MEA, CE, and Nordics.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of field marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Gain deep insights into regional markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to identify market opportunities and develop targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the regional field marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
  • Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure alignment and integration of regional activities with overall marketing plans.
  • Represent Optimizely at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the brand and establish thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in field marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the EMEA region.
  • Strong understanding of regional markets and cultural nuances within UKI, MEA, CE, and the Nordics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
