Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Chilcomb House and our collections sites. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of facilities management, promoting a culture of excellence, and ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, and facilities management
- Assess and manage risk, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and trust policies
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless and efficient service
- Support the team with hands-on approach, technical know-how, and practical skills
Requirements:
- Background in facilities management with a keen eye for detail
- Thorough understanding of safety legislation and risk management
- Fantastic people skills, with ability to interact with colleagues, visitors, and contractors
- Ability to work on-call rota and participate in various projects, including our net zero carbon project
