About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated nurse to join our team as an Advanced Nursing Practitioner in Acute Medicine at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients with acute medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with acute medical conditions, including respiratory diseases.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on acute medical condition management.
  • Liaise with community services, including community-based respiratory nurses and intermediate care services.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have:

  • NMC Registration.
  • Courses related to advanced nursing practice or equivalent extensive knowledge in acute medicine.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a generous annual leave allowance.
