The County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Pulmonology Expert to join their esteemed team of respiratory specialists. As a key member of the Acute Medicine and Medicine Specialties Teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical opinion on a wide range of respiratory problems, both emergency and elective. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in lung cancer investigation and management, medical teaching, and bronchoscopy. A Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent qualification is mandatory. Additionally, the applicant should demonstrate full competence in pleural ultrasound and procedures, as well as evidence of NHS management skills and experience of supervising trainees.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary package, estimated to be around £110,000-£140,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
