Job Title: Child Development Support Worker

CareVisions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable children and young people in residential settings.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Child Development Support Worker to provide high-quality care and guidance to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, nurturing, and compassionate culture that supports the needs of our young people.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care and support to residents, addressing their unique needs and preferences
  • Working closely with colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote resident achievement and growth
  • Contributing to a positive and respectful environment, modeling excellent behavior and promoting good relationships among residents and staff
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid manual driving license, as you will be required to transport residents to various activities
  • Experience working with young people in a professional or voluntary capacity, with a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection legislation
  • An appreciation for trauma-informed care practices and the ability to apply them in your daily work
