Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Business Leader to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of the International Payments division, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading payments and technology company, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insightful commercial analysis and supporting leadership teams in achieving revenue and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and reporting, identifying risks and opportunities to budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to conduct complex analysis and drive business decisions.
  • Support business case development, including capital planning and account profitability.
  • Formulate financial business plans in collaboration with leadership teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified accounting background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with PQE in day-to-day financial planning and analysis.
  • Recent experience in the Planning function within financial services industries, preferably from a Fintech background.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing support and business case development.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and reporting models using Planning Analytics or similar BI tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills with a high level of attention to detail.
