Established Facilities Maintenance company seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead their team in delivering projects of all sizes across various sectors, including commercial, fit-out, retail, and data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tender stage subcontract and material enquiries.
  • Assist with subcontract procurement, agreement, payment, and award.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and contribute to discussions as required.
  • Prepare valuations, agree amounts for payment, and ensure invoices are prepared and issued.
  • Re-measure work using site measurement and drawings.
  • Inform sub-contractors of contract variations.
  • Deal with contractual issues from a commercial perspective.
  • Provide cost advice to Design Consultants.
  • Assist with reporting on contract performance via monthly cost/value reconciliations.
  • Agree client and sub-contract final accounts.
Requirements:
  • Procurement experience.
  • Measurement (NRM/SMM) skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Risk Management experience.
  • Valid CSCS card (desirable).
  • Valid driving licence.
