Job Overview

Bridgeway Health Services is currently seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Community Learning Disability Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with complex needs.

Our Community Learning Disability Team is a multi-disciplinary team managed by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, working closely with local authorities to deliver high-quality care and support. We are committed to delivering person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

Your Responsibilities

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with service users, their family, carers, and professional colleagues to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans. You will also provide early/timely intervention when there is deterioration in a patient's condition, offering assessment and intervention, including practical hands-on support.

About You

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about working in collaboration with others to enhance health and wellbeing, and prevent or reduce behaviour that challenges. You will have a strong understanding of PBS principles and practices, as well as experience of working in a similar role.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for career development and professional growth.
