About the Role:
Akg Surfaces is seeking a highly motivated Building Materials Account Manager to join their sales team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our products to the commercial market. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial construction industry and be able to effectively communicate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring excellent customer service and driving repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of building materials / construction / commercial projects sales experience, 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within all phases of commercial industry projects, and 1+ year of business development experience. A strong understanding of building materials and stone fabrication or distribution experience are also essential.
