Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a month fixed-term, Band Community Psychiatric Nurse post within Gwynedd Substance Misuse Service, based in Caernarfon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment and treatment interventions to individuals who misuse substances, including risk assessment, substance use, social care, and psychological effects.

Main Duties
  1. Provide knowledge and experience of substance misuse interventions and treatment.
  2. Use effective communication skills to engage, motivate, and maintain service users in contact with services.
  3. Be responsible for the development and continuous evaluation of treatment programmes as appropriate.
  4. Work with both alcohol and drug misuse service users.
