Nurse Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals working with looked after children in the Anglesey and Gwynedd area. As a Nurse Specialist - Looked After Children, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to this vulnerable population.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement statutory health assessments and care plans for looked after children in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Work closely with School Nursing, Health Visiting, Community Paediatricians, and other LAC Nurses to ensure the best possible health and social outcomes for looked after children.
- Advocate for the needs of looked after children and care leavers, promoting their health, development, and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Significant post-registration nursing experience within the community
- Excellent record-keeping and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and travel between sites as required
