Job Title: Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care to adults in the community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment, and support to adults with complex communication and swallowing disorders. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including community hospitals, outpatient clinics, and patient homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and support to adults with complex communication and swallowing disorders
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate study relevant to clinical area at Masters level or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Able to demonstrate continuing professional development
  • Clinical supervisory skills training
  • Membership of appropriate clinical network group
