Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care to adults in the community. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy, with experience in working with adults with a range of conditions, including progressive neurological conditions, stroke, dementia, and head and neck cancer. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively in a team, provide leadership and mentoring, and contribute to the development of our clinical services.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff members
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services and quality improvement initiatives
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Postgraduate study relevant to clinical area at Masters level or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Continuing professional development and up-to-date CPD portfolio
- Clinical supervisory skills training
- Membership of appropriate clinical network group
