Job Title: Supported Lettings Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd as a Supported Lettings Officer.

Job Summary:

The Supported Lettings Officer will play a crucial role in supporting homeless ex-offenders to acquire private rented accommodation and live independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating support services and information to enable individuals to maintain their tenancies and achieve settled housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services and information to homeless ex-offenders to enable them to acquire private rented accommodation.
  • Liaise with key partners and stakeholders to ensure additional support is provided for customers in need.
  • Promote the use of the private rented sector as a viable alternative to social rented housing.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the law governing homelessness and current issues in housing.
  • Awareness of issues and challenges facing ex-offenders and solutions to resolve homelessness.
  • Knowledge of housing benefit rules and regulations, welfare benefits, and issues relating to private rented tenancies.

What We Offer:

This is a contract position with a salary of £26 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the housing sector and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
