We are looking for an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team at Blossom Care Group. As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to our young people, focusing on their individual needs and goals.

Job Summary

This role involves working closely with the Manager to deliver exceptional support and care to our young people. You will develop strong relationships with our young people, encourage their participation in home activities, and assist them with daily tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Manager to provide high-quality support and care.
  • Build strong relationships with our young people, promoting their participation in home activities.
  • Participate in a working rota, which may include evenings, sleep ins, and weekends.
  • Develop partnerships with external agencies, such as Local Authorities and Health/Social Care professionals.
  • Conduct key work sessions with young people and produce reports.
  • Ensure the effective safeguarding of young people under your care.
  • Assist young people with daily tasks.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of approximately £29,500 - £31,700/year, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes competitive hourly rates, sleep ins, and On Call cover payments.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in residential environments for children and young adults.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation related to young people's care.
  • Ability to work at least 3 shifts a week and sleep ins.
  • Preferred DBS Certificate and Update Service.
  • NVQ Level 3, 4, or 5 Residential Childcare Qualification (desired).
