Care Assistant for Young People

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Manager to provide exceptional support and care to our young people, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Manager to deliver high-quality support and care.
- Develop strong relationships with our young people, encouraging participation in home activities.
- Participate in a working rota, which may include evenings, sleep ins, and weekends.
- Build partnerships with external agencies, such as Local Authorities and Health/Social Care professionals.
- Conduct key work sessions with young people and produce reports.
- Ensure the effective safeguarding of young people under your care.
- Assist young people with daily tasks.
Compensation Package:
We offer an attractive salary range of approximately £29,500 - £31,700/year, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes competitive hourly rates, sleep ins, and On Call cover payments.
Requirements:
- Experience working in residential environments for children and young adults.
- Understanding of relevant legislation related to young people's care.
- Ability to work at least 3 shifts a week and sleep ins.
- Preferred DBS Certificate and Update Service.
- NVQ Level 3, 4, or 5 Residential Childcare Qualification (desired).
