Job Overview

The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care, promoting clinical excellence, and providing clinical advice and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong assessment skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. If you are a registered Adult Nurse with substantial post-registration experience, leadership experience at Band 7 or above, and in-depth knowledge of recent NHS legislation, we encourage you to apply.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including opportunities for career development and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves working as an autonomous practitioner, responsible and accountable for your decisions, actions, and omissions. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Performing clinical procedures, including further invasive testing and treatments.
  • Requesting investigations such as blood tests, electrocardiograms, and computed tomography scans.
  • Prioritizing health problems and intervening appropriately in complex situations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and other statutory bodies.
  • Substantial post-registration experience, including leadership experience at Band 7 or above.
