Job Title: CAMHS Children

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents in our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing low-intensity evidenced-based CBT interventions, managing risk, and working closely with education professionals to foster a whole-school approach to mental well-being. You will also be expected to develop and deliver individual and group time-limited interventions to young people within education settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form strong working relationships with education settings to provide consultations and support
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to young people within education settings
  • Work closely with education professionals to embed a whole-school approach to mental well-being
  • Evidence the outcomes of the MHST service
  • Provide clinical supervision to Education Mental Health practitioners
Requirements
  • Experience of assessment and delivering evidence-based mental health interventions, including low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy interventions
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working within a CAMHS setting
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and safety planning
  • Ability to work autonomously in the community and use own initiative
