Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team on a Data Centre project in West London. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety documents and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to site management and assist in the closure of issues.
- Deliver health and safety inductions to employees and contractors.
- Advise on personal protective equipment requirements and ensure compliance with Dornan's policies.
- Manage sub-contractor safety documents and ensure they are relevant and up-to-date.
- Assist in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activities.
- Support site management in maintaining records of statutory inspections and plant equipment.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and report findings to senior management.
- Represent Dornan at site meetings and provide guidance on safety procedures.
- Manage the Toolbox Schedule and attendance records.
- Compile and communicate site emergency plans.
- Advise on first aid and fire marshal requirements.
- Provide training recommendations and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Ensure all training requirements are met by sub-contractors.
- Prepare the safety file for handover to the client at the end of the project.
- Provide monthly KPI statistics for your projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant EHS qualification.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position.
