Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified individual who enjoys teaching a variety of nursing (within NA, LPN, and/or RN programs) in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats. The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester, engage students in the learning process, clinical supervision of students, course and curriculum development, student advising, and accurate maintenance of student files.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing required by the start date.
- Must have several years of experience in medical surgical and/or pediatric nursing
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to teach a combination of day, evening, weekend, hybrid, and/or online classes, and flexible to work at any of the College's locations.
- Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching at the college level, ability to use instructional technology, and knowledge of Virginia BON regulation and ACEN accreditation criteria.
