Nursing Professor

Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking qualified individuals who enjoy teaching nursing at the college level in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats.

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester, engaging students in the learning process, clinical supervision of students, course and curriculum development, student advising, and accurate maintenance of student files.

Full-time faculty members fully participate in nursing program development and evaluation, college activities and committees, and represent the institution at community events and professional opportunities.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Master's Degree in Nursing required by the start date, several years of experience in medical surgical and/or pediatric nursing, excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to teach a combination of day, evening, weekend, hybrid, and/or online classes, and flexible to work at any of the College's locations.

Experience teaching at the college level, ability to use instructional technology, and knowledge of Virginia BON regulation and ACEN accreditation criteria are preferred qualifications.

We offer competitive salaries commensurate with qualifications and experience. For this position, we estimate an annual salary of approximately $60,000-$80,000 based on industry standards.
