This exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Waste Management Specialist to join our team at the Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage the relationship with rural communities, including Parish Councils, Borough Councillors, and the public, promoting the best options for waste management.

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful management, promotion, and publication of the waste collection service, as well as working on improving trade waste management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the relationship with rural communities, including Parish Councils, Borough Councillors, and the public
  • Ensure the successful management, promotion, and publication of the waste collection service
  • Work on improving trade waste management

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of waste management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to plan and prioritize work effectively
  • A knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and scheduling work programmes

The estimated salary for this role is between £25,284 and £31,581 per annum, depending on experience.
