About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance strategy and managing the engineering budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a maintenance strategy to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  • Manage the engineering budget and ensure effective resource planning
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver capital and strategic projects
  • Collaborate with contractors and third-party suppliers to ensure a safe and compliant environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in process manufacturing and FMCG/Food industries
  • Extensive experience in managing multi-site teams and leading large-scale projects
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience, with recognized project management training
  • IOSH or relevant Health & Safety qualifications
